Covid News

We are delighted to have re-opened our cottage again from 12th April 2021  and we welcome you back to Weardale, part of the North Pennines AONB.

Our cottage has been risk assessed in light of Covid-19 following guidance from the Government, the Health & Safety Executive, Visit Britain, and in association with our holiday agents, Pennine Country Cottages.

We are very pleased to tell you that we've been certified by Visit England as 'Good to Go' in terms of Covid guidelines, policies and cleaning regimes, and also awarded the 'Safe Travels' logo from the World Travel & Tourism Council.  Our risk assessment can be sent to you prior to your arrival, but is also available in our cottage for you to read.

The safety of you, our guests, is paramount.

Please therefore know that all non-essential items have had to packed away for the moment. These include games, books, maps, DVDs, condiments, hairdryers and hot water bottles.  This is for your safety, as we cannot guarantee to deep clean all of these items individually between visits during busy times.  The amount of crockery and cutlery will, of course, be sufficient for your stay, but is limited from our usual full availability for the same reason, which we hope you will understand.

Please continue to socially distance whilst in the local community for everyones' safety, but have a wonderful time here in Weardale whilst you're with us.  We've missed you!
